The Executive Preview for DialogueWORKS: Collaborating for Results® helps participants to comprehend and experience the content of this full-spectrum interpersonal communications training.

Course Overview

The Executive Preview begins with a content review of the course. After a short question-answer session, participants spend the remainder of their time learning content adapted from the Suspension section of the course material.

Participants will focus briefly on the necessity of expanding their capacity to communicate more effectively. They will learn how to process information and formulate the mental models through which they perceive their world. We will also explore human brain function and the "thinking traps" we fall into because of the way the brain processes information.

Participants will learn to increase the accuracy of their thinking by distinguishing between data and interpretation as the basis for providing feedback. They will also have the opportunity to use the "DIAL-In" model in creating a feedback conversation.

The Executive Preview is designed to help participants understand the content of the DialogueWORKS® program and learn something of value. Participants will be able to:

The learning process mixes discussion, lecture, experiential exercises, video examples, and self-assessment to provide an informative and fun experience.
