Expanding Leadership Capacity®Expanding Leadership Capacity® training uses the Dialogue Communications Model to help leaders formulate and hold a number of challenging leadership conversations. The course addresses the critical need for people management skills. Participants learn to expand their capacity for understanding and for giving and requesting feedback, managing expectations, recognizing the contributions of others, and defusing defensiveness. Participants also learn to prepare for any difficult conversation by identifying their intent, clarifying their assumptions, checking the current status of their relationships, and assessing the context of the ensuing conversation. In summary, participants learn how to initiate a difficult conversation, discover and share diverse perspectives, connect with others and their ideas, and build more satisfactory and fulfilling solutions. Thinking for Results®Thinking for Results® training explores how our perceptions and thinking processes actually keep us from creating the results we desire. Learn how to increase critical thinking skills to improve problem solving, decision making, and creative ability. The course reviews the impact of being more emotionally intelligent and aids in the identification of violated personal values which often trigger emotional response—people learn how to . In addition, five critical learning skills are learned and practiced to help participants gain new perspectives: seek feedback, observe the obvious, clarify assumptions, transcend the paradox, and think the unthinkable. Participants expand their personal capacity to achieve more significant results while improving organizational effectiveness. Executive PreviewThe Executive Preview reviews the DialogueWORKS: Collaborating for Results® course content.
