Melanie Ohm, PhDDr. Ohm’s work has evolved from a background in business, the social sector, university-community leadership and the performing arts. Her ability to focus on detail with an eye to the broader context and her talent for collaborating in diverse environments have qualified her as a trusted consultant to government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations, working side by side with leadership to build capacity, facilitate communication, and implement change. In a time when it is unpopular to be a “generalist,” Melanie uses her broad skill set and talents for organizational/community development and building communities of practice: working with organizational leadership; facilitating exploration, planning, and training; aligning processes with goals; and addressing challenges with innovation.
